What was your most memorable moment of 2011?

I had a few
Getting Shamrock
Swimming with the dolphins
My parents 50 anniversary weekend at Woodloch Pines
Seeing childhood friends that I haven't seen in 30+ years

So sad that this is the last

My Dad's surprise 60th birthday party at Koenig's
Celebrating the first of many holidays in our home
DH deciding that he doesn't want to wait 2391293219 years for

Buying our first home together
Getting our puppy, Cosmo

-- my vacation with DH to Israel and Italy
-- my idiot co-worker quitting and me possibly getting his job (a promotion) ... but i won't know for sure till next month
-- starting to look for a house to buy
-- DH finally finding a great job that has decent hours AND pays well


so sad this is the last OMHQOTD

*hosting our first family holidays (mothers day, thanksgiving, and pre-christmas)
*going to greece and prague
*going to north fork wine country for our one year anni/easter
*surprising DH for his 30th birthday
*(and while this isnt my accomplishment, it was some of the best news everrr...)DH passed that big certification test that he has been studying forever for!!!!!!!!!!

Hands down, every moment of my pregnancy

~ our vacation to hawaii
~ the annual family camping trip
~ trip to italy: venice, florence and rome
~ celebrating our 1st anniversary
~ finding our first home and going into contract (closing will be 2012!)
~ running our first half marathon

well definitely our whole trip to Italy was the most exciting and really was sentimental for me...i just never thought I would ever get there and it felt like a huge thing checked off my bucket list.

but the day we closed on our house and i drove up to the driveway was the singular most memorable thing of 2011. it was like one of those memories you just know you will never forget and how you felt at that moment. (actually, dh and i were driving separately to the new house and i was like screaming to myself in the car after we closed and i was so wrapped up, i mixed the exit by like 5 exits and got lost lol)
