The lesson I learned tonight

The lesson I learned tonight

DH and I get a 1/2 size Christmas tree every year. We were trying to figure out a logistical problem with where we were going to put it and decided to buy a cheap folding table to put it on.

I got a 20% off coupon from BB&B and went shopping. They only had one table, which was $79.99 but matched the set of mahogany folding chairs we bought a couple of years ago:

I was ready to buy when DH complained that it was a lot of money for a folding table. Not to mention, it was larger than what we actually needed and would barely fit in the space we set aside for it.

So I went to Target.com and found this:

Looks pretty similar right? It's 12 inches shorter, the perfect size, and $39.00. Then we found a coupon code here that gave us an additional 10% off the price.

And it still matches the chairs we already have.

So what I learned tonight... Just because you have a coupon, doesn't mean you have to use it. And doesn't mean you're getting the best deal.

I'd put the BBB product against any folding table on the market. Their line represents nothing but high quality goods that demand higher tickets than their mass competitors. In addition, they will take any competitor coupon. There is no better place like it on earth.

Disclaimer: The above was written by a devout and hardworking buyer of the company in question, and therefore the counter holds 'no water' to the argument made by the original poster.

Last night I learned that yet another person in my building sports a speedo to swim.

They're bringing the buldge back, I guess.

Last night I learned that if I flick the lights on and off really quick, it gives me that nice disco effect when I'm doing my nightly dance routine.
