The longest, saddest saturday of my life.
Sorry I needed to get this off my chest and FH is at work and everyne else is busy at my moms for my sister and nephews arrival.
This has to be the most depressing day i've had in a long time.
FH and I found out that one of our land lords had passed away on the 14th. We were on vacation that week so we had no idea. We've lived in their nice basement appartment for 3 years and normally we hear them up there, he used to play music all the time and it's nice because they're awesome. And we noticed the past 2 weeks that it was extra quiet latey and his car wasnt in the driveway. So I had FH call to find out if they went on vacation and everythings ok. And we had that bomb dropped on us. He was the sweetest man ever. When I first moved in he actually took us out on his boat labor day weekend and he always making sure everything was great in the appartment. So today its just so eerily quiet theres no music, no tv, no footsteps.nothing.
I keep tearing because i keep waiting for the music start up. (he was like 70 and listened to techno music) and it doesnt and I know it's not going to anymore. You barely know someone, but when you live in their house, you get used to their habits and those habits make you comfy, they make it a part of home.
When FH was talking to his wife, she was telling him how they've been together for 25 years and married for 18. And when he was taking his final breaths she leaned in kissed him and told him 'You're a pain in my ***, but i love you so much'. FH told her that's exactly what I would tell him. I actually started bawling. Because thats what true love is. It's holding their hand to the last second and even knowing whats going to happen making them feel like everythings going to be ok. He always told me and FH, that he got it right with her.
Sorry this is like insanely long
