Anyone read this book? It is pretty good so far. It is about a little girl that was murdered and she is telling the story from heaven....I am only on the third chapter but I gotta say its pretty good.

Re: The Lovely Bones
I just started it last night and I can't put it down - I'm up to page 175 between last night and this morning's long bus ride to work in the rain....

Re: The Lovely Bones
I know I am alone here, but I HATED that book! I only finished it out of curiosity, but I honestly did not like much about it. Forgive me, I just always need to throw in my 2 cents because I am so outnumbered

Re: The Lovely Bones
One of my co-workers and I read this book at the same time and I finished first and kept bugging her to hurry and finish so we could discuss it. I LOVED it. I found it fascinating and gripping. My friend tried to read Alice Sebold's nonfiction recap of being raped and she couldn't read it . She gave the book away. She found it wayyy too intense

Re: The Lovely Bones
I liked it a lot, but there were a few things towards the end that I wasn't too thrilled about. Mostly, I really enjoyed the book and I'm glad I read it.

Lunatrek- You're not alone. I did not like it either. I finished it just to finish it. I thought it was an ok storyline. I also think people who are interested in or facinated by the afterlife theme, like this book as well.

Re: The Lovely Bones
Well im almost done with it. I havent had alot of time to read it...lately. The beginning of the book was pretty good but now it is just dragging. I am in the last 50 or so pages and I am just reading it to finish it.

Re: The Lovely Bones
I thought it was OK...but I had the feeling of 'waiting for SOMETHING to happen' throughout the whole book and nothing really did. I was disappointed in a couple of things at the end....it was interesting, but a little depressing. I give it a 2 out of 5.

Re: The Lovely Bones
I agree with some of the girls on this topic, it just wasn't one of my favorites, I just found it hard to get through.
