Anyone know much about this place, I am having a small wedding for 75 people, and still having second thoughts about by RH place, going to sing my contract next week, but before I do I was wondering if anyone has feedback on this place..... Thanks ladies

Have you checked out the George Washington Manor in Roslyn?
We had a small wedding with about 65 guests and everyone raved about our wedding.

the Maine Maid Inn is a beautiful place.. and the food is incredible.. the only downside is that I don't think they allow a DJ.. just backround music from a CD.
(at least thats how it was a few years back when my family was looking to have a party there)

We are having a brunch there for the day after our wedding so we went to check it out. It has a very rustic feel to it so as long as you like that I think it would be fine. I think their largest room has a 60 person minimum and holds about 100 people.

So isn't the purpose of renovating to make something look better?....well I went and checked out the place yesterdat and it was horrible. The walls which on the webiste are a cream color (elegant) are not a hideous baby blue! Seriously baby blue? and the carpet was changed to one that looks out of an Austin Powers movie, well so much for that.........
