has anyone looked here - what are your thoughts, Pros and cons???

The Woodlands was gorgeous-it was actually in our top three. It was a little more than we wanted to spend, but otherwise it was gorgeous. I would check them out. But the BM-Maureen who was there just left, so now I don't know how the Woodlands will be without her. You would have to go and see. Good luck.

The Woodlands is gorgeos..great place. I went to a wedding there about 2 months ago. Really nice and the food was great.

We loved it there but it was our of our price range because of the number of people we are inviting...I have heard terrific things about the food! The atmosphere is gorgeous! Search under woodlands on the brides review board - i don't think any past brides had anything negative to say about it. Good luck!

FM my friend MrsBartonToBe She is an 07 bride and she is getting married there. She'll fill you in on price ranges pp and other places that are like 'manions' similar to the Woodlands!
coming up to it.. we were not impressed. the stairs are all cracked and plain..
We also thought it smelt musty in there
and they golf course is right outside the rec hall room. people play golf 40 feet away.

My fiance and I are having our wedding there March 31. I believe they are having a bridal showcase on February 27 - so you might want to contact Dawn (Maureen's replacement) and check it out.

these are great sources of info.. unfortunatly the ONLY reviews on LIW right now...
I am getting married there iin July and we absolutely fell in love with it. Its a very warm cozy atmosphere and the food is impecable. Also is suitable for a formal affair or even black tie. Its a very elegant place!
