The Meadow Club Brides-advice

I am interested in booking a wedding there but am concerned that they book more than 1 wedding at a time.........for anyone that has been there as a guest or wed there........did you find that to be a problem??? I hate the thought of running into another bride.

I was there for a Wedding and it was a problem for me, but just to give you an idea, the lobby was filled with people for all the parties, I think there were 3, included my friends wedding, it was around Christmas so the others were christmas parties and just the bathrooms were crowded, from the different parties. Hope this gives you an idea, I don't think I would turn it down just because of that.

I loved the Meadow Club and I've heard great things about their food and service. One of my concerns with them was the three weddings at a time thing and since the place is small I was also afraid that it would have an overlap. But you do get your cocktail hour room the entire time so your guests wont have to be out in the lobby that much if they want a break. Personally, I wouldn't let the off chance that you might run into another bride turn you away from such a cozy, charming place. JMO.

Hi: I don't want to burst your bubble, but didn't you feel the smell of the room? like sort'a wet? mildew?
I was considering booking there since their prices are very reasonale, but since
I wanted a nov wedding, I didn't like the plastic chairs for the cocktail hour, maybe it
would've been better for the summer. I don't know, I guess I'm neurotic. Besides
I went to a wedding there & it does get crowded.

My sisiter got married there and there was NO problem. The weddings were scheduled in intervals, and we didnt see anyone from th eother wedding, unless yolu went to the bathroom, or the suite.
I thought it was a GREAT place.

I'm having my reception at The Meadow Club on 3/27/04. So far I have heard only good things about them and I know the people working there are very nice.

They are having a bridal showcase on 1/21/03 between 7-10pm. If you want to check it out give them a call by this sunday and make a reservation. All they will want to know is your name and how many people. This way you can check out the place, vendors and try their food.

I'm getting married there in July and I lucked out. There is a high school reunion there on my night. I'll be the only bride! I just hope they don't get too rowdy! But I'll be so preoccupied, I don' t think I'll even notice!

I also wanted to add that one of my friends got married there last spring and it was definately a great time. The food (I had the filet mignon) was excellent---better than a few other weddigns we went too and the room was set up gorgeous. I honestly don't remember anything about the chairs (I was a wee bit tipsy even before cocktail hr started ).

We had our wedding at The Meadow Club also. I was the only bride there - the only other party there was a sweet sixteen, and when I went into the lobby to get my dress bustled, a few of the kids saw me, and just said 'Congratulations' and 'What a beautiful dress!' Otherwise, we didn't see anyone. None of my guests complained that there was any problems with crowding.

The food there was amazing, and the people were just great. We are still hearing rave reviews from family and friends who were at our wedding.

I didn't smell any mildew either, and believe me, my sensitive nose would have noticed that.
