I am just wondering if anyone looked at this place and/or has pictures? I was looking under the review board.. but I don't see anyone who had their wedding there recently. Is there a reason?

Someone just got married there last month.....I can't remember her name though! Maybe check the official '06 brides thread?
I checked out the Metropolitan and absolutely loved it- FH thought it might be a little cramped for us (we're inviting 200), but I thought it would've been fine.
The food was out of this world!!! I would have loved to book there if only FH agreed with me! You have to see that place in person!! Amazing!

After Sammis78's wedding this Saturday, I have to say the food at the Metropolitan was awesome and the place itself is gorgeous. I loved the 2 floors, we took a lot of great shots from the balcony, it was really great!

I second LongMarriage's review. Sammis78 got married there this weekend. I highly recommend the mashed potato bar. YUM! She put all the older people on the first floor and us youngins on the upper level since we were more likely to walk the stairs to come down and dance. I'll post some pics----she was gorgeous!!!!!

I am getting married at the Metropolitan in 12 days!!!
FM me if you want information!!!! We absolutely fell in love with the warm, homey feeling of the place. The food is AMAZING and Eileen is the most wonderful woman in the world.

We got married there a month ago today and I cannot say enough good things. Everybody keeps (to this day) telling me how fabulous the food was and how it was the best wedding they have ever been too :) The baker did a great job with the cake too, if you look in my album she matched it to my invites and it looked beautiful. I worked with Pam though the process and she was so nice, everybody and everything was absolutely perfect. I am seriously hoping one day I know somebody else getting married there so I can do it all again!! (I guess without the staff catering to my every whim! :) We ended up squeezing on the first floor (at 184- they suggest 180 max) only because I didn't want to have to go upstairs to say to people and miss the dance floor. I'm sure it would have been cool with the 2 floors also but I just wanted it on the smaller side... Let me know if you have any questions but I definitely would recommend this place over and over again!! If it means anything DH and I have already decided that is where the baptism parties will be when the day comes!
