i looked there. i heard they have very good food and i know they gave a good package price wise. i have heard all positives. i know they just redid the ballroom too

That was where I originally wanted to book ....they were great and it was nice even though they were in the middle of remodeling....however there was no place to take pics and no outside which is what I really wanted thats really the only reason why we didnt book with them (we even had our menu picked out)

Just called them. They don't do kosher. Not even with an outside caterer.

Surprised they dont do kosher as I believe they do alot of bar mitvahs there, but maybe those people are not kosher.

what about the temple in Rockville center? iw ent to a wedding there and it was really nice and good food. Temple B'Nai Shalom.

I went to a wedding a few years back at Temple Avodah in Oceanside and it was fantastic! Really good food, nice (and large, i thought) ceremony area. maybe worth looking into?

I am only having about 120 at the Metropolitan.
I think you could probably seat about 150 -175 comfortably. They do have a balcony with additional seating if you dont mind having your guests on two floors. It isnt so much an issue of the ballroom accommodating the people it is the cocktail room. I think anymore than 150 and it would be very tight.

love the metropolitan..... great food and service. FH's best friend works there and we have gone to Christmas parties there.....Really wanted eparty there but we had it elsewhere......
