the moms are giving me anxiety!

my mom and FMIL are stressing me out...neither one has attempted to start shopping for MOB/MOG gowns

with only 4 1/2 mths to go they are really stressing me out!

Mine haven't either! Ughhhh - you should remind them that they will need time for alterations so they need to get on it!

i just sent my mom an email to hint that she has to get on this....she said after new years she will go!

now i gotta work on FMIL

my mom wants to go to this dress maker. i'm tell her go for it but GO NOW!! she's crazy she'll wait until the last minute and i know it.

i forced my mom to go in October because she is so damn indecisive. she ordered her dress & we where told it wont be in until mid-March . well it came in December 1st already!!

however, she refuses to try it on until February.

FMIL on the other hand, has not even start to look yet. i am going to remind her in January, when we finally get her to go to the florist.

...do they know kinda what they want to wear? if you have a general idea, maybe you can research a few ideas and send them to them to get the ball rolling?

DOnt worry my wedding is in 2 mths and both MOB & MOG do not have a dress Fmil said they would both just go in their birthdaysuits

ugh no. and i know my mom is really indecisive....for my sisters wedding it took her forever to find a dress and then she ended up buying a new one bc she didnt like the first one...

I'm getting married about the same time as you and the stores are yelling at us that we HAVE to order like now if we want it in on time for the wedding. They said you really want to order 5 months before the wedding to allow the dress to get in and be altered in time. Apparently David's Bridal has a quicker turn around but their MOB dresses were way too conservative for my mom.

Unless they are going to buy from a department store I'd tell them to go order NOW!

well if it makes you feel any better, FMIL went to estelle's on LI...and actually WALKED OUT with the dress. i havent seen it (but FSIL went with her, so im not too concerned). said it fit great. just need to hem it

so its totally possible

my mom orderd her dress 2 months ago, and it already came in. so i think you will be fine

but definately continue to bother them

Maybe they are waiting for the new year?? I dunno...if it was me, I would have been looking like as soon as you set the date. Start bugging them January 1st...tell them no more excuses!
