The more I'm sick of it! I am tired of trying to please people, I'm tired of worrying about meeting my huge minimum, about what date to change it to and coming up with the $$. My aunt eloped and she has no regrets. As we speak I'm looking into having a small wedding at Disney World. maybe like 20-50 people. it would be less money, would take less time to plan and it would actually reflect something I want. Plus if people don't want to come...screw them!
What do you ladies think?

I say go for it. You could always have an informal reception at home with a DJ and have everyone else who couldn't come.

That's true. because I was always thinking oh we'll have the wedding here and then in 5 or ten years ahve the vow renewal t disney, well, why not the other way around? have it at disney and if I feel like I missedout not celebrating with everyone and his/her brother, I can have a vow renewal and areception

How does your FH feel about it?
(I do feel that, if you are sick of the wedding planning already, your idea is a great one! Although I think everyone goes through those feelings at some point. We took breaks for months at a time in the past year in the planning).

I SAY GO FOR IT ALSO. I WAS LOOKING INTO THAT ALSO AND ITS SO MUCH CHEAPER AND I WENT THERE AND LOOKED AT SOME OF THE LOCATIONS AND THEY ARE REALLY NICE. IF YOU GO ON THE DISNEY WEBSITE AND CLICK ON EVENTS I THINK IT IS THERE SHOULD BE A LINK FOR WEDDING AND YOU CAN REQUEST A FREE DVD INFORMATION SENT. I sooooo know what you mean. I mean mom thought I was going over the top with the mere suggestion of wax seals on the invitations. I didn't think it to be that big of a deal.

go for it! i have been having similar thoughts...but then i go back to my orig. plan...the thing that gets me the most is that i have to guarentee 200 and it kills me!!!!!!!!

I would have loved to get married in disney...all the weddings i've seen there on TV look gorgeous. I would def look into it. I think it's still going to be a lot of planning, but at least the outcome will be to get married at someplace you love. Christmastime in Disney is very nice too. It's a very popular time down there.
