lololol... i meant more along the lines of beliefs, maybe money, career, children, how you will get through tough times, etc... you are so funny miss faith!

What religion will we raise our children (interfaith couples)?
How will we handle finances (combine money, budgeting)?

I dont think theres one most important question. I believe that before marriage theres a bunch of questions that need to be discussed and are vital to a healthy relationship.
Here are a few of mine:

do you want children?
What type of marriage do you envision as far as husband/wife roles?
Where do you want to live?
What are your religious beliefs?
What religion do you want to bring up the kids?
What are your career goals?

and....You need to make it clear what comes first -- family or career. Even though this seems like a 'duh' question, it isnt. FH and I had been dating for over 3 years when it finally came out that at times, his career might have to come first.

How are we going to handle our finances after we're married?

If we are opening a joint account, how much goes into it each month/year? Are we putting in a % of our salary or equal amounts?
