I know this book has been out for a very long time, but I just read it over the weekend. In one sitting. No joke! I vegged out on my couch in the air conditioning and didn't put it down! It was SUCH a great book, I couldn't help myself from laughing, but I also felt so bad for having to go through that! I swear I know some women like Mrs. X.
It was one of the best books I've read in a long time (and I just finished Harry Potter, too!)

I read that book last month and really enjoyed it! I think I heard that they are going to make it into a movie.

I wasnt sold on that book until the end. But in the final chapters I was really cheering for Nanny.

Like Sonicstef: I wasn't sold until the end. The fact that Nanny had no backbone was so annoying.

Re: The Nanny Diaries
I'm reading it right now...for some reason, I feel like I've read it before (but I absolutely did not). Is it similar to another story? Did anyone else feel this way?
I wish she had left her speech on the camera...that bothered me...why be decent...why not tell these people that they are the pieces of crap that they are...

Re: The Nanny Diaries
Erica, I agree!
And it really irked me that the nanny's name was Nanny.
Otherwise, it was a good, brainless read.

Re: The Nanny Diaries
It is a good, enjoyable summer read, that doesn't take too much thought. I think that there are lots of Nannys out there too, which is a bit sad if you think about it. And there are way TOO many Greers out there too.

Re: The Nanny Diaries
I agree Yabbo! I also wished that she took one of Mrs. X's Gucci shoes and shoved it up her a@#!!! I can't believe there are people out there who treat their children like that, it was so frustrating.

Re: The Nanny Diaries
I was really disappointed in this book. Scratch that, I was really disappointed in Nanny - could she have been any more SPINELESS than she already was?? And, really, WHAT was up with naming the nanny, Nanny???
