The nerve of some guests...

Im doing my wedding on a weekday and guest were asking my mom was it a typo on the save the date... they would prefer a Saturday... lol sure, pay for it !!!

This is actually a plus for me and FH because this means we will reach our minimum.

You should tell this people there WAS a typo and let them show up on the wrong date!

Though to be honest before I started planning my wedding and meeting with halls I didn't know people got married on weekdays. i think it's becoming more common but for some people they've just never heard of it before, so try to give them the benefit of the doubt! They're probably not nasty, just clueless.

My wedding is on a Sunday and I had some people go 'That's a Sunday' as if they were telling me something I didn't know. or 'That's Father's day'.. Yeah thanks for telling me. Apparently weekend isn't good enough. It must be a Saturday. LOL

Is your wedding on the 20th? Because that's a sunday and not technically a weekday. I know Thursday wedding are becoming much more common than they have been.
people are idiots.

I agree - they're probably just unaware. I could picture some family members saying something like that, not b/c they're being malicious but b/c they're just clueless.

And don't worry, I always have weddings on holiday weekends! It's just a norm for us now! :)
