About a half an hour ago two people rang my door bell to ask if we planned to sell the house.....Hello, my grandpa has only been dead for two weeks!!! I was in complete shock. The people said that they lived on the block too...I've never seen them...and they just happened to be real estate agents. Can you believe that...Ehhh it makes me so angry. So in a very snotty voice I said my parents don't know what they are doing yet, my grandfather just died. Sorry I just had to vent!

That is absolutely obnoxious...when you do decide to sell I would not use them. They are way too desperate for a sale.

I believe it! People were coming to my grandmother when her sister was dying BUT STILL ALIVE asking about her house and when they would be selling it!

As for the rude people I hope you screamed at them and slammed the door in their face. If they truly lived on the block they would know how recent it was and how rude they are. So sorry.

Fh's half sister(we cant stand her) does that she has a fake license so she can find out who dies and what property they have and then she uses her real identity to offer her real estate services

Unfortunately, they are just doing their job.
What are you going to do if you decide to list with someone else... and your highest offer on the house is from somebody that is using that same person as the buying agent.
Are you really going to decline their offer?
