THE NERVE OF SOME PEOPLE!!!!!

THE CHEAPO STIFFER (one of them) that came to my wedding with no gift, who says she has no money, just IM's me to tell me shes going to a concert this weekend & LA in August.

HELLO????? I would love to say something to her about stiffing me but what? Uggh!!!!!

holy crap! I can't believe she didn't give you a gift! How rude! You should say something like 'Oh I wish I could go to LA & a concert, I'm broke after my wedding!'

Say NOTHING, Jen. Unless she is one of your closest friends, it is not worth it. Ignore her...some people have money and priorities for things that are important to them only.

Put on your gracious bride face and be done with her. It would be extremely poor taste for you to say anything....after all, inviting someone to your wedding should not be about getting a gift, but rather, sharing your happiness that day.

Yes Claud you are right thats why when I read the IM i bit my tongue and wrote to her BRB and put the awaymessage on.

I am just steamed.

I guess I just can't beleive people.

is it possible that it was lost? this happend to my SIL and she wonders if the envelope was lost. she never approached the person and will never have the answer
it does take balls to do that !

I would never think of going to a wedding or function without a gift. Two people stiffed me too...not even cards.

I had quite a few people come to my wedding without gifts or cards...I am still steamed that they did not get a card....its really not about the gift. Some of my friends came up to NY from Florida to go to my wedding...they stayed in Manhatten all week, showed up to the RD late, held up the bus for the wedding and then did not bother to get me a card. It was very disappointing because I felt like they used my wedding as an excuse to go on a vacation to NY..I just wanted the card to know they acknowledged my wedding. Jenn. I work with these people every day and it is so hard for me to keep my mouth shut. But I do it! I think that is the best way to handle it. I do it, but I will not forget and I will not be the bigger person when something big happens in their lives. whoa...I was supposed to be answering you and I went on my own rant. Sorry!
