So...I made an appointment w/a vendor (florist) about three weeks ago, for today. I knew I couldn't make the appointment last week b/c I already selected a vendor for this particular part. So....I called Monday night and left a message on the vendor's answering machine stating I was cancelling our appointment for today. I get a call this afternoon from the vendor telling me that I'm very inconsiderate not having called to cancel....remind you, this was repeated three times in the message. WTFudge? I know I called the right number b/c I've left messages on the vendor's answering machine before, and they never got back to me....is this my fault?

I understand that completely - it happens. But as a vendor, do you think it's a smart idea to tell someone off on their voicemail? Honestly now! LOL.

I gotta say that when I called to cancel this same Flowers By vendor a few months back he FMed a nasty FM.
So this must be typical behavior on his part.

OMG! It's all coming to the surface now! I was especially upset b/c they give my neighborhood a bad name!!!!!!! We're very territorial here in Brooklyn!

OMG it doesn't stop! I just got FM from this vendor:
'We did not receive notice of your cancellation, and you should not pick up an attitude for it is simply a courtesy. I apologize if you took it that way'
PICK UP AN ATTITUDE?

Re: The Nerve of Vendors....(UPDATE)
i think some people forget that rule that the customer is always right.... i have worked in customer service for years... you always speak nice to the customer no matter how nasty they are... then when they leave you talk crap about them... you dont do it to their face telling them they have an attitude!!

Re: The Nerve of Vendors....(UPDATE)
are you friggin serious?!! i'm sorry but if youre in the customer service industry and your rep is on the line, a vendor should be the one apologizing, even if the customer is wrong! (not saying that you were wrong, just saying it in general).

I wish I could recover a deleted FM, I'd be sending it to every single weddie on here!
