the new Forever Stamp...

I just pre-ordered 5 books of the new 41 cent forever stamp, which is of the Liberty Bell. They come out next Thursday, but I know with my luck that by the time I get to the post office they'll be sold out and I need to mail out my invites within the next two weeks. Any other brides having fun with the new stamp rate going up in the middle of the year too?

grrrr..dont remind me.

thanks for the reminder gonna place my order in too!!

r u using the forever stamp on ur rsvp envelopes, invitations, or both?

---

Just on the response envelopes because they're so tiny that I really rather not squeeze in an extra stamp or two.

does anyone know when this becomes effective, until when can we use the 39 cent ones?

---

May 14th the new rate goes into effect.

At least that is what I heard at the post office the other day.

The post office told me they will honor the 39 cent stamp until may 14th... I think it may techinally go into effective before that.
