Has anyone gotten married or booked thier 2007/2008 wedding at the newly renovated NYP - The INN? I may be booking it there for a 9/27/08 wedding.

I was there the other day to see about booking my sisters bridal shower that will be coming up. They just started the renovations so make sure that you check with them to see when it is going to be done. The place was nice and quaint. It should be beautiful when it is done. I was going to book there but they couldn't give me a definate on the renovations at the time. Good luck

Westbury Manor .... Loved the place, stopped by there by accident ( FH past the exit of the initial catering hall we were going to visit) I feel in love with the place and fell in love with my BM and we booked it. I couldn't be happier. Of course my sister was upset with me because she wanted to get married there but her FH said no. Where else have you visited?

I checked them out when I was shopping around....I loved that it's family owned and the people were so nice. The bridal suite upstairs is ENORMOUSSSS!!!!!! I just saw the plans for their renovations, which was kind of a big reason that I got scared away. Just cause you never know if things get pushed back or they are a little slower than originally thought, or it doesn't come out how you pictured, etc. But I know their price was unbelievable when I went because she said they want to encourage people to still book with the renovations and all.
I took the chance and booked it with hopes that the hall will be done. Supposedly the son of an owner is getting married there Sept 07, so if thats true it should be done by then. since im Jan i figured they would have time to get the 'kinks' out.
Pray for me that it will be done!

I am also getting married there. I booked 8/31/08. I fell in love with the place!!!! The owner owns his own construction company so I am confident that it will be done on time. Also the owners daughter or son is getting married this Aug 07, so it has to be complete.

I went there when I was looking for a place to have the wedding/reception. It was a bit out of my price range but it was gorgeous there.. I also got a bit nervous about the renovation plans and all not being done in time.. if it wasn't done in time it would have freaked me out literally.
