The new job vibes are spreading here! I got an offer!!!

My friend is opening a day care and offered me the position as her assistant! It'll only be 2 days a week until June, then I will be FT, Mon-Fri 9-5. It's not a ton of money, but I won't have to pay for childcare since Maiah will be with me.
I think it's going to be a great opportunity for all of us. Maiah will get a chance to be around other kiddies her own age. Plus we'll be having music classes, a piano instructor a couple days a week, taking them to gymnastics, a woman will be teaching them French an hour or so a week. LOL...it sounds busy but I think it's going to be a very succesful day care.

I have been providing private child care forever. As a matter of fact my first family's youngest twins are in the 2nd year of college now. I love it and I'm sure you will too. Especially since you will be able to share the time with your daughter and she will experience interaction with other children too. Enjoy!!!
