The new season of Survivor

Will anybody be watching this new season: The battle of the Races.
Do you think the concept of the show is a good idea?

I think it's really horrible and I don't like it at all. I don't know how they can air something like that when our society has supposedly come so far.

Those are my thoughts exactly but then you see a show like this and it makes me realize that maybe we havent come as far as we'd like to believe.

I had mixed feelings for the show, but I watched it and frankly I like it. They divided people in the past by race, age, and gender, why not race. Give it a chance, the first episode was really good.

I love survivor, and I love the concept of the new season. I think that the season is already proving that you have to be a strong individual player in order to win whether you are seperated by race or not.

I think people should consider the show as a team envirnment that turns into a single race towards the end, and nothing more. Just enjoy the show.

I don't know why people can't just root for the person they want, and stop trying to analyze every little thing. No one had a problem when they were divided into age, or when they were divided into Men and women. Even the news articles have been saying that the hype behind it was going overboard before the first show came out, and now that the first show aired, they are interested.

I am tired of people saying that one race has an advantage over the other etc. If you are that good at being stranded on a an island with nothing, and have to watch your back, then prove it.

It's not a race thing, it is a game. It's that simple. None of the characters on the show have a problem being seperated. If someone does have a problem with it being a race thing, perhaps that is just their own insecurities coming out.

Sorry, I'm just sick of people making more of things than there needs to be.

I'm not bashing you girls, I'm just frustrated with the comments about the issue in general by the public before it even came out. Just watch the show if you want to enjoy it. If someone doesn't like it, they don't have to watch.
