I agree! I LOVED the movie but the book, IMO, was soooo much better! I have read the book like 5 times and cry everytime I read it!!

so many ppl talked that movie up that i was like waiting for the tears to come out and they never did.

now, 'A Walk to Remember' is another Nciholas Sparks tear jerker!!

I purposely never saw it b/c I heard what a tear jerker it was! Iwould probably cry for days.

Yeah so my girls and I have a ladies night and we watch the notebook...people start leaving before the end because we keep starting and stopping for random crap....so finally its 5AM and me and 1 other girl finish the movie and we are SOBBING UNCONTROLLABLY under a blanket on my couch w/ a box of tissues between us...then the part with the birds come on and we are just loudly weeping talking about what a great movie it was. LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOO I LOVED IT I still watch it and cry....Women are such saps sometimes....

I cried a river when I watched the movie, but not as much as when I read the book...want a real tear jerker??...read The Wedding (also Nicholas Sparks)

we both actually got really messed up for like 3 days after seeing ladder 49!!
now that is a really sad disturbing movie!!!
