The Occidental Grand Aruba - are renovations finished?
Just wondering if they are all done, haven't been there or heard of anyone going in awhile. I know they were doing major renovations. tya!

I am 98% that we are going there for our HM next May...I figure they should be done by then for sure.
When I called to find out if they were done I didn't get a very concrete answer. I know all the restaurants are now open and they said everything else should be done 'very soon'..whatever that means.

I just went to meet with a TA yesterday and we talked about this location as a possility. She said it's brand new they just finished extensive renovations at the beginning of the year.

FH and I just came back from The Occidental Grand Aruba on 8/18. The hotel is not 100% complete. They were still working on the ocean view rooms and hall of various floors in the hotel. I found the employees very rude to anyone who was not there on their honeymoon... But that is just my opinion. Aruba is gorgeous and I would defintely go there on my honeymoon, but maybe not to The Occidental.......

I just booked my wedding at the Renaissance ...i havent been there but i have heard many good things about it ...

i just came back from aruba. renovations are going on at a lot of the hotels. we stayed at the radisson. Make sure you request a high floor. raddisson is 6 floors and we were on the first floor. wish we had a higher floor.
