Great thread. I live in Philly with FH, but I grew up on Long Island and my parents still live there.... Not so fun planning everything from out of state but at least I'm only about a 2 hour drive away and spending all my money on gas and tolls to get stuff done on weekends!!!

I haven't done a thing!!! I've narrowed down the RH that I want to look at, but I feel like Im SOOO far behind you guys! I've started to look at photographers online albums and blogs too, but Im so worried that everything will be booked up by the time I get to come home in July. What are the things you guys found easiest to plan just by phone/internet? Im finding that everywhere wants me to come in for an appointment and I try to explain to them that I really can't yet and sometimes they are just rude and unhelpful
How is everyone else doing? Better than me I hope!

I'm going up to NY this weekend without FH to meet with three florists and go wedding dress shopping with my mom. The last weekend of April I got FH coming up with me and I have appts set up with 4 photographers and 3 DJs. That will be a crazy weekend but I wanted to see as many options as possible since its the only weekend I could get FH to come up with me. We'll be up in June to do a tasting and hopefully we can look at limos and then we'll have our major vendors sealed up.... That will make me so less stressed!

I'm in Lansdale, so, not too far. Thankfully my entire family still lives there, so, I will have my mom and half of my bridesmaids/MOH helping me, which is great.

thats too funny..i almost forgot i started this
but i have not forgotten that it is the most stressful ting planning from far away
i wont be able to get abck to NY until 5 days before the wedding!!
and FH wont be getting there unil 3 days before..so we have to right away go and get the license and have him see everythign before the big day!!
only a month and a half away!!!!!!
