The Office BBC
Does anyone watch this show? Is it unnatural for me to adore and worhsip this show after only seeing 20 minutes of one episode and 10 minutes of the special? And by 'unnatural' I mean, should I dismantle my shrine?

Oh yes, yes you do! And, there's a 2 hour special that was on about a month ago but I missed it
It is seriously one of the best shows ever, I don't understand how it was only on 2 seasons! And, there's only something like 6 episodes a season.

That's a very British thing..Fawlty Towers was the same way. A Quit-While-You're-Ahead mentality ... there are some American shows that would do good to heed this. (7th Heaven, I'm looking at you!)

Oh yes, they definitely did right by it. It ended itself where it should have but it, of course, left me wanting more!
Unfortunately, I hear they're going to try an American version of The Office. I wonder how many crash and burns we'll need to have to understand IT JUST DOENS'T WORK HERE!

Alright, I guess I should weigh in here, being the LIW resident pseudo Brit:Oh, no!!!! British humo(u)r!
Try immersing yourself in it all day every day!
Contrary to what seems to be popular belief, the British tend to overdo things too - like they'll put mayonaise on anything that will stand still!!!!!!!!!!! Makes my stomach turn almost as much as Black Adder or Little Britain!!!! DH just sits there twittering away at it like an idiot...It's the OPPOSITE of funny!

It's not the fries (chips) that bother me so much. At least yuo can control how much is going on there when you're dipping...it's the prepared sandwiches (and by the way, there is no such thing as a Deli in London, so it's either a prepared sandwich in a little plastic triangle container or NOTHIN') it's the soppy, soupy, thin, liquidy mayo that's on EVERYTHING. You think I'm kidding, but I'm not, I swear!!! It's just gross!!!
I guess they like their humor dry and their sandwiches WET!
