I have seen 12th Night's work and really like it. I see a lot of 12th Night brides on here. As for Silverfox, I don't really have any info on them.

I remember Ida- she was the one that took care of my Sister's wedding. I have been there before as well and know that the food is amazing- my Sis got married there in 2003. We want to do a food tasting also just to do it and make sure we like everything. I think the next one is at the end of the month and there will be one in August. I am going to NRC with my Mom tomorrow to make a payment and will ask them when the tasting is and I will let you know!

if you can let me know when the next one is i'd appreciate it too!!!
I still have not done my tasting and i have 5 months left

next food tasting is June 11th!!

Hey has anyone started looking at florists yet? I hear alot of good things about Flower Michele but does anyone know if it is affordable? I also read somewhere that NRC only lets Pedstals do ceiling fixtures, like hanging tuille (?) and flowers....is that true???

I am using Rose Connection...My sisters used them..They are VERY affordable and did such nice jobs with my sisters weddings...

Thanks! I will give them a call. I saw you were asking about DJs before so just wanted to tell you that I am using Classie Sounds. They are based in Brooklyn. FH and I heard them at a wedding and they were great.

I'm surprised so many 09ers are doing food tastings! We had ours on 5/11 and that was just over 3 months out. they said they usually suggest that you go a month or two before you choose your menu (which I am doing on 6/16).

The food was AMAZING, especially the filet mignon w/ mushrooms.

Dana is right. Pedestals is the preferred florist, and does all of the NRC arrangements (the silk ones in the lobby, CH room, and hall, as well as the fresh flowers that are included for the ceremony). Pedestals is the only vendor that is allowed to decorate the ceiling.

Nadine recommended the food tasting for us in August but our wedding isnt until Sept of 2009. I dont want to go too early b/c I might forget what food I'm putting on the menu.
