and yes, i happen to write out my thank yous IMMEDIATELY. i am very prompt in doing so. i got home last night at 9pm and had received gift. i stayed up writing 3 pages of my thoughts and thanks to a woman i don't even know all because she bought me a simple gift that i didn't anticipate...her thoughtfulness made my day...not her obligation, her thoughtfulness.

and to all the girls coming:

if you give a gift at all, please, let it be your smiling faces and dancing feet!

now if you will excuse me, i have a thank you speech to prepare for LIW and my girls. it's been fun...but someone has to go tie the knot!

seriously it was all in good fun.... you post a bridentology group and people will talk about it.. who cares??? it made a cloudy day go by.. hey I was almost in just for the tequila!!

and we at one point were all LIW ladies and we had a blast....so what... women will talk, be catty and discuss opinions.. to each is own...

seriously LIW needs to lighten up alittle. There are more serious things in life than beatching about bride 'groups' and thank yous..... yet it does make the day go by quicker when you are bored...

Ugh...just read through what has been going on.....

While just about anyone is welcome to the BBQ GTG at my house, I will NOT welcome anyone who has been disrespectful or drama causing of people who I consider my friends. I don't even care if I met you personally at a previous LIW GTG.

Yes this is a public forum, but I think the point was don't come on here just to bash. If that's all you came on here to do, then don't try to say you weren't causing drama. That's exactly what you were doing.

And I will say here it's unfortunate that some people I was friendly with I am no longer because it appears they have nothing better to do than bash people. If that's how you want to spend your time on these boards (whether LIW or LIF) then I feel sorry for you.

Every one of the bridentolgoists that I have had the pleasure of meeting has been a funny, supportive woman just trying to get through the stresses of wedding planning. This whole thing is meant to be a joke, nothing more. We're actaully making fun of any cult there is. Anyone who doesn't see it for that needs to lighten up or get a life.

Now if you'll excuse me I must go tend to my DH as he seems to be PMSing today.....
