The 'Official' Classless Presidential Debate # 2 Thread

I hope Kerry trounces Bush again. I think with the polls so close, the debates are really important. I never realized how important these last minute things were. And who knew some namby pamby undecided people in Phio could control our fate so much?

this debate was a lot closer than the last!

Somebody announced an official 'Classless' debate and I was not invited?

I think Edwards beat Cheney... and the first debate was a slight lead to Kerry.

But Bush definitely won this one. Want to know why? Even the experts are saying that Bush won the debate over the foreign affairs (the area where Bush was always the weakest). Bush lived up to the fact that there were no WMD.

But anyways... I just want to say that I hate debating politics. Its usually a moot point until after election day. Then we are stuck with the same knucklehead for four years to complain about.

I think debating politics is funny with a bunch of people you have never seen or spoken to in your life though!
Especially when the Kerry people are going to say Kerry won (becuase he did ) and same for the Bush people.

I will say this.....I checked with my Magic 8 Ball during the debate...and not only did it say Bush was losing....but it said Kerry would 'definitely' win the election.

Just so you know......the Magic 8 ball has spoken

I always listen to the Magic 8 ball!!!!! It told me I should say Yes to my DH. So far, it was correct.

Yeah but the problem with debating politics with people you really dont know is... it can get heated at times.

You should check out the car site that I am a site moderator on. I moderate their version of LIW's NWR forum. You should see the s**t slinging that goes on in there.

There was a point where I was either closing, editing, or deleting at least one thread a day.

I can't really debate the politics on that forum cause I have to stay 'neutral' cause I represent the site. So I debate my politics in here.

Besides is more fun here... cause women favor Kerry a HELL of a lot more than the men do. More of a challenge.

In the CCNN focus group tonight, and in many polls, women are shown favoring Bush because they are interested in protecting their children, and as one person said on Tv 'Women love a tough guy'

*sigh*

I think the debate was a draw.

I thought Bush did better than he did in the first debate, but I think Kerry is just a more skilled debater.

I was impressed though with the questions that were asked - way to go, people in st. louis!

Some of the comments were hilarious - did Bush actually say that the air is cleaner under his administration? is that why Christie Todd Whitman quit her post as head of the environment? outrageous.
