I agree, I think they were great. And for a change, the people that won actually deserved the award they got!

And CBS messed up the audio MAJORLY. It was going in and out all night. The broadcast was terrible.

ETA: The Foo Fighters played with Chick Corea.

Oh yes, Misty, I actually agreed with the winners this year.

The only award I thought stunk was Best New Artist. There wasn't one nominee that I thought 'hey they'll be around for years to come'...lol.

All I have to say is Beyonce had absolutely no competition. And Luther Vandross is the man. Will he ever stop being so damn good. I love that man.

Ps She looked GREAT in that pink minidress.

I like Beyonce but not with Prince. Did not like Sting's performance with Sean Paul, Sting was not singing into the microphone and he was forgetting the words plus I hate that song they sang. I liked the Black Eye Peas song and also Outkast. Celion should just go back to Las Vegas and stay off the TV shows! Oh, I could just go on and on....

I felt like Sting and Sean Paul were singing two DIFFERENT songs at the same time.

You know, I'm forgetting the one thing that DID piss me off with the Grammy's. The Beatles tribute! I think it was pretty worthless.

And I shut it off when Yoko got on stage, that...that..YOKO!

People like to blame her. But no she is not the reason. Paul & John weren't getting along & they both wanted to do their own things!

One of the causes. But not the major cause. I just can't stand her!

I would love to know how they got Prince out of hiding to do the grammies.

Yoko looked stoned or something, she seemed to dazed like they had her tied up backstage and then pushed her out with no rehersal. And how goofy was Paul?

I thought Christina Agulera (sp?) was pretty good, at least she sang live and belted it out. And who knew Richard Marx still had a career? I was like, he should push Celine out of the way and start singing 'Missing You'...that would have rocked

Am I the only one who liked Celine's performance? I thought she did well, considering they messed up her microphone and she handled it w/class

I LOVED Beyonce and Prince's performance, and her own. I really liked the show. I don't care if it was a concert, for once it was entertaining and I didn't fall asleep

I love the chick from Black Eyed Peas! she is HOT! lol and I enjoyed the grammy's but I remember when I was younger, I used to look forward to it more.

Christina annoys me. I was just waiting for one of her boobs to fly out of her 'dress'. Guess she had the heavy duty nipple tape on though....

I love Beyonce's performance, that was the only thing I saw, I went to bed after. Did Mary J Blige perform. I saw on Ch 5 this am that Luther sang a little something, how was it???

Shamma, Mary just presented, she looked like a chicken in the outfit she was wearing

Luther taped an acceptance speech which they showed. He sang a bar. It was very touching. his speech is slurred due to the stroke, I am so sad.
