We tipped the MD $1000. And we were told that it gets split up among the staff that catered to your party. We also tipped the attendants $100 each.

Whoohooo JT FINALLY updated their website so you can virtually tour the renovated Penthouse Room! FH and I are having our reception there on 10/09/09 and I've been not so patiently waiting for them to update their website!

It's so amazing I can't wait for our day!

I totally understand. My wedding is in that room also. We have tried a few times to go see it, but it always had something going on in there. Thanks foe the update.

I was looking around on this site to see if anyone had a wedding booked the day of September 5, 2010 at Jericho Terrace (like ours). I see that you are also doing your ceremony there. What time does your ceremony start? This makes me a little uneasy because our ceremony starts at 5PM and they said we're doing our rehearsal about an hour before the ceremony starts. They also told us that we can do out pictures before the ceremony (the cocktail hour is VERY important to my FH and me and we don't want to miss it and feel rushed). My OCD has kicked into high gear and I'm just double checking everything to make sure our (yours and mine) got as smoothly as possible.

We are in the Dome room and are guaranteed 200 people before having to pay extra.

My question is are FH and myself plus the vendors included in that 200 number? Meaning we can really have 190 people before getting charged for extra people??

You and FH are included in that number and yes vendors can be included in that 200 too BUT if you are including them in the 200, they are going to be full price, not 1/2 price. Basically, you are guaranteeing to pay Jericho Terrace 200 x your price per person. Hope this makes sense. (The same goes for kids. They are 1/2 price but if you havent made the 200 minimum, they can be included but will be charged full price.

Do you by any chance know what the age ranges are for children that would be considered 1/2 price? TIA

I have it on my contract. I have it in the car though with all my wedding stuff papers...I believe its up to age 12...will check for you to confirm though

I was told I can include anyone I consider a child. So if I think a 13yr old will only eat chicken tendors than I can include him as a child as long as my min. is reached
