I actually had my sweet 16 in the Dome Room here! Everyone loved it! I am thinking of going back to look again as its now 13 years later! :) My parents were married here too :)

Hey ladies I went to the JT showcase and fell in love. I was just wondering who you would reccomend speaking with as far as a banquet manager? Also were you able to throw things in and are they pretty firm on their pricing?

Go work with Mike Clauss. You cannot go wrong. He is the nicest most personable guy you'll ever meet and he will treat you like you're family. Every time we stop in he offers my fiance a beer lol.

As far as pricing, they were super flexible with us and worked with our budget. They threw in a ton of stuff for free or at least discounted.

YES!! AGree times 100!! Mike is the most amazing, helpful man to work with. You can't go wrong working with him. He made our wedding day a dream come true!

Thank you all so much feeling at ease now! I know that im paying a hefty price for the wedding but I don't want to offend the person I was working with. I guess in the end they will just be happy if I book.

We just booked at Jericho Terrace for August 6, 2011 in the Dome room! We are so excited and fell in love with the room in 2 seconds especially with the built in lighting! Now I need vendors for EVERYTHING in less than 9 months lol should be a mission!

Everyone who books at JT needs to request to have Ray for their bartender. He worked our friend's wedding and he really made the night for us. I think FH and his friends tipped him well in the beginning of the night and from that point on he would personally come to our table and ask if we needed anything. We'd have new drinks in hand before ours were even finished. He was great!

so is it true JT is very limited on linens? they have no choices for tablecloth? do they have table runners you can use? and if they don't if i were to bring them in would JT set them up?

We just used the ones they provided as far as linens go. But I know for a fact you can have outside linens brought in and people have done it.

I have two questions. I recently went to JT and got a list of their in house vendors. Going through this thread I saw Flower Michele recommended from a lot of brides. That florist is not in the list of in house vendors. Did something happen?

Second question is when you tip the MaitreD I know that it is split between the catering staff but do you have to tip the valet separately?

yes, thats correct flower michele used to be on the list. ITS NOTHING BAD FOR THE RECORD.....but i will fm you


i didnt tip the valet seperately, it is included in your 20% or in the matried tip and thats plenty and that covers everyone except the bridal attendants
