The 'official' LIW GTG Thread -- October 15, 2004, Sutton Place, NYC

I will bump this up from time to time for the regulars, but here's the deal.

The GTG will take place on Friday, Oct. 15th. You can start showing up at 7. Everyone is invited. The event will be held in NYC at the Sutton Place. Directions to be provided.

Please RSVP ASAP to this thread if you can make it. If we can get enough people, DJ Pill may be able to hook us up with a room or a table. if we got the room, we'd each have to put money down which is fine by me.

As best as possible, if you RSVP that you're coming, please mark it down and try not to change plans on us at the last minute. The last time, we started with 20 people and ended up with 4. I realize that stuff comes up, but if you committ to this, please do your best to attend.

Let the responses begin

I dont have a microphone there. But i'll give you plenty of song requests.

Will it be any from the mega 80's list you blessed us with earlier this week?!?! I will see if DH would like to go and get back to you... I might be going to vegas for a concert!!

Re: The 'official' LIW GTG Thread -- October 15, 2004, Sutton Place, NYC

I emailed Ron asking him if he would sticky this thread. Most sites have a 'Meets' forum where posts like this go... but this site doesn't need any more forums.

A sticky in this forum would be a wise move and beats the hell out of *bumping* the thread every day for the next month.

I think a minimum of 10 people attenting a GTG would warrant a thread to be stickied.

I am waiting to hear back from him on this.

My mind will be miles away that night.. but I'll be with you in spirit.. To be honest with you.. God knows if I'll even get a wink of sleep.

In lieu of that --

DJ -- can you play some Tom Jones for OG?
How about 'She's a Lady.' Love that song.
