hey girls - i was wondering - since its gets dark so early during our month where are you all planning to take your pics?

I am having a 1:30 ceremony so I am hoping to get all my pics done before my ch at 6:30. we also are probably going to take a few pics at RH.

I am very happy to say that I ordered my dress...it's not the one I liked originally but this is the one that made me feel like a bride and made me cry(I don't have any pics yet-I am waiting for people to send then to me) The first dress was a Maggie Sottero and my dress is a moonlight....I also picked out bridesmaids and my MOH dresses..(those pics are in my album)...It was a very productive weekend!!

my ceremony doesn't start til 5, and we don't get to the hall til 7 or so. We're taking full advantage of the photo studio at Fox Hollow.

I'll take before pics (alone) at my house, then church, then Fox Hollow. If its not raining, we can get some pics outside, too. Its beautiful all lit up!

It looks like all our pics will probably be inside at our hall. We should have about an hour and a half between the daytime wedding and when our guests start to show up.

Our photographer said they can light the outside a bit for nighttime pics of just the 2 of us.

The time change will be different for 2007....the clocks fall back on Nov. 4, 2007 at 2am.....the night of my wedding!!

So, the girls getting married on Nov. 2 & 3 will still have an extra hour of daylight for pictures.

She was hard to track down, she lives in CA and works in television, and is easier reached over email. But I wanted to at least talk to her over the phone!

And now I can't believe that November is almost over!!!

Here's what I'm up to:

I have my first dress shopping appt this Sunday. I'm going to Lillette's in Baldwin with my mom.

I booked the Rabbi!

FH has been trying to contact the priest, but can't get him on the phone. Not sure if that's a bad sign as things get closer will he be this hard to reach?

And I'm aiming to send my STDs out by next week, don't want them lost in the mail with all the holiday cards!

What's everyone else working on?

I'm sending my STD's out in the mail tomorrow with our XMas cards :) Other than working out at the gym for the first time since before I was preggers (2 yrs ago) , I haven't done anything else yet... Slowly but surely things will get done How are all of the other November brides doing?

WOW, I have date twins! YAY!!!!

Okay, so tonight we have a meeting with the priest...finally! I've been waiting since January to meet with him (don't ask)...and hopefully I will start my gown search this weekend. I keep saying I'm going to look for a gown and the days just pass with me not doing anything because 'I have plenty of time' !!!!!
(I don't think I can say that for too long now)

Good luck with dress shopping. I went to Lillette's too. I found a dress that I like there but I want to keep looking around to make sure. I had a great experience there tho! Have fun!

I hope to start working on STD's soon. I would like to mail them out sometime in January.

We met with the priest again this week. We are going to register for precana soon too.

I wanted to welcome the newest November bride .... FutureMrsGK!

And I can't believe that OUR YEAR is only a couple of days away now .... We are all approaching our 10 month mark! I remember when we hit the 1 year mark, and I swear that was only yesterday!!!!

I started dress shopping and have a 2nd appointment at Lillette's after New Years. Am I the only one who doesn't have their dress yet?

We booked OWG for a photo location before the ceremony!

And I finally mailed our Save the Dates!

Hopefully we will have an appointment with the preist soon, I've left that up to FH to handle. I already spoke to the rabbi and he's got us on his calendar.

So, have you ladies accomplished anything else since you last posted?
