It's official....I'm absolutely clueless about this site! I posted that no one responded to this thread and the dork that I am I now see a whole bunch of recent replies!! I'm learning, i'm learning.....

You girls are so ahead of the game!!! that is great!! FH is slacking over here. never wants to talk about the planning!!! Thinks it's going to fall on his lap....grrrrr!!!

I;m thinking navy dresses for the BMs with orange-based flowers. Haven't seen a florist yet. Want to work on my photographer and videographer next. Any suggestions?

Shorty McBride...love the flowers! I am obsessed with those berries. HAVE to have them in my flowers somewhere...thinking centerpieces or BM flowers.

Love the flower boquet...I'm trying to keep it all red flowers-I can't find any besides roses and carnations- I don't want burgandy, I want bright red, and I'm having difficulty finding what I want!

Hi Ladies,
I really don't post much on here but I have gotten some great ideas from all of you.

I am getting married Nov 3rd and I am looking for flower girl dresses. I don't want typical white ones. I am looking for a very fall inspired dress for my flower girls maybe a brown and tan plaid or brown with a copper sash.

Has anyone seen anything like this in their searches? Most of the dresses I have seen have been whote or light shades such as pink and sage green.

I haven't seen any FG dresses with plaid, but here are a few fall colored ones ...

In the past couple weekends, we've :

*ordered GM gifts (watches)

*decided on invitations (still have to figure out the wording and order them)

*finished pre-cana and filed all of the paperwork with our home parish

*called the Deacon to set up the required 'facilities tour' - we can't book a rehearsal date without it...STILL waiting for a call back.

*officially booked and paid 30% of our florist bill

*set a date to register (1 month from now - the one day our days off overlap! )

Its coming together!

i think i am the only one on li to get married on nov 25th.
we are still deciding on photographers and dj's. we have ordered the invitations and limos.
