I noticed there were tons of questions flying around about the Surf Club in New Rochelle, so lets all help each other!

Table they are all round and 12 is max
10 is perfect

does anyone know if the surf club has been repaved yet? the last time I was up there it was still gravel.

I was there about a month ago and they were paving the main driveway. Looks like they installed fountains in the middle of driveway!

According to Artie, they have decided not to go ahead with the pool renovations this year.

As for the driveway, I was there 2 weeks ago and they put in the mini fountains but the middle driveway leading to the main horse fountain and entrance has not been paved. They had been waiting until the snow/rain let up.

Hopefully now with the good weather, it's being worked on now. 59 days to GO!!!!

thats good about the pool i guess??? i just hope they actually kick people out at 5!

just out of curiosity - for those of you getting married on a saturday what is your minimum?

the pool will not be open on 5/15 yet! so no worries about kicking people out.

my min is 200. not sure if that's more or less typically for the grand ballroom but our reception is during the day so maybe they were flexible? we're hoping about 230 as a final head count.

i'm getting married in june - 5/15 is my fake lurker date haha so the pool will be open already

my min is also 200 but we're in the penthouse on a sat night, they said it would be 250 for the grand ballroom for a sat night in june

I was at the SC on Saturday and the driveway is complete! They're now working on some of the accent lighting along the driveway and fountains but it's looking great! Going by again today to finalize linens. Less than 6 weeks to go :)

we're going at 6... finalizing the menu/picking selections and cake

i was planning on making my own menu, i didn't know they offered the option of making menus

Haha, that was why I was asking! I'm planning on making my menu as well :)

We finalized our menu a couple of weeks ago and wanted to do a tasting of the steak optional upgrade, which is why the FH and I were at Surf Club on Friday. But he can't take much of the linen talk so I'm heading over there myself :)

Hey loves! Ok so I got an email from Nancy to go over the menu!!!!

Quick question: Is there a tasting? Like the other halls do it? Should I inquire? Also, for girls who did this already, what can I expect?
