I noticed there were tons of questions flying around about the Surf Club in New Rochelle, so lets all help each other!

Hello Ladies,

I am getting married in November and this is the first time I am posting somthing! Anyway, my reception is in the Surf Club and recently heard that the food was horrible. I am going crazy becuase the food is soooo important to everyone who is attending our wedding. please let me know...

really? I always hear rave reviews about the food at SC! My friend was married there sadly I couldnt make the wedding, but everyone said it was wonderful!

A friends friend got married there recently and they said that everyone was complaining about the food =( and I started looking at every review possible regarding the surf club and I read some mixed reviews. Now we are saying to include the surf and turf which will bring the cost up even more!

I really wouldnt worry....a few girls on here just got married there and all thought the food was out of this world! Everyone has their own opnion, so remember not everyone will love it, but more then less I hear great reviews on SC!

The food at SC is amazing. I think you were BSed. I wouldn't worry girl, your wedding will be amazing. My guest called me for a week straight saying that the food was fantastic and I'm Italian so you know that food is VERY important. Trust me when I tell you that the food is the best wedding food you will ever taste. The number one question i got from my guest was if the SC had sunday brunch or something so they can go back,..and this is off the boat italians... where food is god and if its crap they would tell you.

we upgraded to the shell steak - not sure if going to filet would be worth it imo

May I be honest with you? My husband is a steak eater and said that the prime rib was the best prime rib he ever had and the filet mignon is too small and not as appealing as a prime rib. His prime rib was really good too ( I had a peice).

I highly recommend the sushi station, wine tasting station and the Italian meat station oh the martini bar. Those were a favorite amougnst my guest...

Married!

Surf Club was great! Eveyone keeps raving about how pretty the venue is! The food and service was great! My cake turned out better than expected! The Bridal attendant and Maite' D were on top of things!
