The *OFFICIAL* VENTING thread - Post yours today

Since it seems like everytime I come on this site, I weed through tons of Stressed / Vent / Pissed / Sad / Unhappy / Mad / etc / threads. Its getting to the point where maybe we should have a regular shrink monitor the boards.

I figured I might as well join the club since I seem to be in the minority so here goes.

Vent vent vent... bla bla bla... etc etc etc.

Ok I feel better now.

EDIT: Ok... this has now turned into the OFFICIAL VENTING thread. Knock yourself out. Keep it clean... keep it nice.

I think that if people want to express there feelings then they should be allowed to do so without being made fun of. JMHO.

Since you can usually tell from the subject what the post is about, why don't you just skip any that may bother you? People should be able to vent, and if you don't agree with the post, that is your right, just as it is theirs to vent. Seems to me you want to stir up trouble...

I know.. but sometimes I think people want an opinion other than from family or friends because there isn't an emotional connection to the person. Some people on here are friends.. but most are not and probably will never meet.

Here's an example of my fav. conversation on here.. (I'll be skinned alive for this one.. hehe)

New Subject -- My Puppy is Hungry.

Thread-- My puppy looks so hungry. I havne't fed him. What should I do???

Response -- Why don't you feed him puppy food. Then he won't be hungry.

Response to that -- OMG.. I love you... you are the best!!!

Don't get mad or anything, Ladies and Gents.
It's all meant as a joke.

Exactly my point. People on here obsess too easily and don't know how to take a joke.

Ill agree that there are many serious things I have read on here that people need advice to. But OctGroom's thread about the dog is exactly what I am talking about.

Oh well... what can you do. I am getting 'typical female' responses and I am gonna get skinned for it myself.

Oh well... flame on.

Yeap... us men just don't understand. I at least admit that. I'll never understand women.

You know the old saying... 'if you can't beat them... join them'.

So i am gonna vent along with everyone else here. And if you are like Flacata... feel free to just ignore my posts... er vents.

I dont get why you care so much about other people coming on here and venting. And I get the 'dog is hungry' post (funny)... but some questions seem pointless if you already know the answer. I have asked my fair share of dumb questions here too. Now I know the answers. And things are so slow here sometimes, that a vent here and there are ok to read, you dont have to answer you know.

I like the vents - it is nice to know that other people are having some of the same issues as me during this time.

Does my FH want to hear every little thing his mother does that drives me nuts? Does my MOH want to hear about the favor boxes not matching? Does my father want to hear that I am disappointed in him for XYZ. No that's why we come here - to vent and destress in a semi-incognito manner.

It can be girly and sometimes the questions seems silly or unimportant. But to each his own you know? You have to just respond and participate to the threads that you are intrested in. But you do have a right to voice your opinion.

Okokokok. You guys win, i'm convinced. I say VENT ON then. It does make for some interesting reading.

I've been a bad boy today. If anyone feels I deserve spankings... just FM me.

no spankings are in order ..... You should totally be allowed to vent about a vent

You listen to us -we listen to you !

I think DjPill has every right to his VENT just like anyone else!
But when i am sad or upset i come here to share...and i love the support, and i think that is why you see the posts...We all can't be happy campers all the time

Wow that was not a nice thing to say!
There is no rule that says you need to read all of the posts and you certaintly don't need to reply. Next time you encounter a vent by someone in the 'majority', just skip it if it bothers you so much! I will certaintly be doing that to all of your posts.

I don't think he was trying to be rude...He is just venting like the rest of us...sad, upset stress, annoyed people
