The one song your band/DJ better NOT play...

I've noticed that my do not play list for my band is longer than my must play. What songs are banned from your wedding?

Mambo #5 (not that my even knows it, I'm sure)

Any and all Brian Adams

Electric Slide.

I have more, but I need to get my numbers up!

cotton eye joe IMO isn't sooo bad.. i'm slowly putting a list together so I don't forget any.. & I don't want them requested either

reminds me of my aunts wedding in like 1990.. which she also had electric slide & chicken dance at.. I know theres other songs like those that I don't want I just can't think right now of the names.. when I do I will post them

you got that right!!!! I don't want those either!!! ..I wish I could just make a list of every song to be played & thats it lol I think those type of songs will kill the night

The band company I went to said that the 'Do Not Play List' is much more important to them than the Play list b/c that's more telling of the music you'd really want!

We don;t have anything booked yet. I asked a DJ we were certain to book, about playing more than one song by a particular artist, when I was informed that he would not do that.

We met while living on Penny Lane, thought it would have been cute to play that, and some other Beatles classics.

The DJ then followed up by saying he played typically 6-8 Pitbull songs.

We obvil didn't book him, even tho he came highly recommended.

Pit Bull would be on the do not play list, as well as JLo, and line/group dances, and I'm sure the list will grow once we book entertainment.

No song that comes with any sought of group dance ie chicken dance, electric slide, cotton eye joe

NO BEYONCE SINGLE LADIES!!!!!!!!!!
