The ONE thing I didn't like about my RH...

Was the carpet in the CH room. It was the one hang-up I had about the Venetian Yacht Club...It wasn't totally awful (and of course didn't stop me from booking) but it was something I didn't like...

I'm friends with them on facebook and they posted today that they are replacing the carpet in the CH room! WOOHOOOO! Haha this made my day

i dont understand why some reception halls put such ugly carpets down why cant they just not put carpet down

Yayyy!!! I don't understand why so many halls (as in all of them) have ugly carpets. It's so silly to me!!!

jealous that they are changing the carpet at your RH. i wish they would do that with mine. in the ballroom they added such ugly carpet and you can tell it does not go with the rest of the RH--- i guess its a cheap way and prob easy to clean. uch so ugly!

Yeah, I hate the carpets...I think they put them because they are inexpensive (it's a very large area to cover!), durable for the tons of foot traffic they get, and they hide stains well. Who could see a tomato sauce stain in all that ugly pattern? LOL.

OMG 12er crashing!! FH LOVED the VYC and we were so close to booking them but I didnt like the carpet!!
