The only thing I'm nervous about is...

...getting really behind in grad school. I'm taking two classes and will be missing two sessions of each class due to wedding/honeymoon. I've been studying my a$$ off and will be willing to do anything I can to make up the work. This is the only thing that I have been stressing about b/c I am an excellent but neurotic student and I don't want my grades to fall this semester. It will be time to take the midterms soon after I come back from the honeymoon. Why do I get myself into so much at once? I just couldn't bear to take the whole semester off, at the time it seemed like it would be easy. I hope I can handle it.

You sound like my daughter.She did the same thing. She had her last class, and term papers due the week after the wedding. When she walked in the class gave her a standing ovation. You'll do it. She did. And got great grades to boot. All the ladies are so amazing at what you can juggle and plan a wedding. Rely on your support group (and Moms, we love to help). Deep breaths and one day at a time, it will be over before you know it!

You'll be fine, just try to get as much done as you can before your wedding and explain it to your professors now.

I totally understand, btw. I am also in grad school and will be missing two weeks for my wedding/honeymoon. I'm also missing two weeks of my practicum which starts next week. I also contemplated taking the semester off, but thought I would regret it if I did. Now with surgery, I have to get to my classes that week no matter what because missing three classes would be an incomplete.

You will be able to handle it. Like you said, you're an excellent student and you will not far behind. Let me know if you need to vent!
