I got emotional..

I got emotional as well!! I have yet to see his performance, but I think it was incredibly classy of his family to accept the award for him!

I was so happy! He was amazing in that film!

I think he should have won for Brokeback Mountain, too!

No I agree with you. Not that his performance wasn't incredible. But NEVER ever before has an actor from a comic book movie been nominated for an Oscar. So if he was alive I really don't think he would have even gotten a nomination. And for that reason I think its wrong. I don't think its right just to award someone because he is no longer with us.

But I did get emotional. I mean don't get me wrong I love him and his performance. But its not fair to the actors who took the right roles and worked hard to get nominations.

I am so happy...so far all my faves have won! Is it me or are the Oscar's really good this year and so emotional....

they were talking oscar for him before he died...and its time oscars got it right..sometimes movies that r not dramatic deserve the attention too..look at robert downey jr..he made that movie funny and im glad they rewarded him

Heath ledger had Oscar buzz around his role as the Joker way before he died and he deserved that Oscar...He was amazing in that movie
