no not cheating!!! I'm talking about his mother!! How do you all get along with your FMIL? Is she a part of the wedding planning process?

i adore my FMIL...i'm really lucky to have such a wonderful woman in my life...i've left involvement in the planning process up to her...she can be as involved or uninvolved as she wants...either way she's more than welcome to be part of this whole process

My FMIL is in FL Not part of the planning proces but I try to involve her as much as I can.

I really like her, but i feel like there is always some looking down upon from her. His parents are hard core Catholics, and fh is not, he does not go to church with them ever and i am catholic but am not practicing. from time to time there are side comments made because on the weekend fh will sleep over my house, the comments get annoying and i just ignore them. its just ridiculous because when me and fh started dating he was 30 (just turning 31) and i was 23 (Just turning 24), its not like we are kids, and now its almost been 4 years and we are engaged can the comments stop.

My FMIL is great. I have known her linger than FH b/c I worked with her for 3 1/2 years before FH and I started dating. She is involved in all the wedding planning. She calls me all the time to thank me for including her in all the plans b/c her other DIL hardly even spoke to her.

She is wonderful! We get along really good....she has no daughters- so she calls me the daughter that she never had

I met her for the first time this past may she stayed in my house for 3 weeks she lives in israel ... She is great . we got along sooo wwelll !!!! But he doesnt have any part in the weddng process since she is so far away

my fmil and i get along great. she doesnt have a daughter so i think she likes having another girl on her team. im very lucky to have a good relationship with her and she is so excited about our wedding. i would like everyone who wants to be involved in the planning involved.

FMIL is not part of the wedding planning process, but she loves me, she was so happy when we got engaged, i think she was more excited than my own mother was!. but she is the kind of woman that tries to act a bit younger than she really is.. the first time i met her she asked me if i wanted to go clubbin with her LOL....

my fmil and I have a love/hate relationship. She is a truly nice person at heart but her own personal priorities and responsibilities are out of whack which has a direct effect on FH. Since i've been in the picture they have definitely became closer and can cordially communicate. We have our off days but for the most part things are good.
As for planning, she is partially involved, and that's only because I know EXACTLY what I want and FH and I are paying for it. I do include her by showing her my ideas but FM and I hold the reins to this horse!

I have a pretty good relationship with my FMIL. We live in different states but she is partially involved in the wedding process. She has offered her help if i were to need it and she does photography on the side so she is doing our engagement pictures.

we have a good relationship...we joke and mess around and she calls me at work all the time. so far she hasnt been too involved with the wedding plans but neither has my mom yet. she wants to come with me to look for a dress though so that will be some major bonding...me, my mom and fmil
