Ever hear of this book? Who is the author? A friend of mine told me to read it, that it was the best book she has ever read!

Re: The Pact
It's by Jody Picoult ..I just finished it..IT was good, not the best book I had ever read but it was very moving and disturbing is the best way of putting it..It stayed with me for DAYS..It kind of made me depressed in a way, I cant explain it..it is worth reading for sure!

Re: The Pact
I loved loved loved this book. I do agree that it was very disturbing and if definetly stayed with me for awhile as well. I don't think I could ever re-read it (I love to re-read books over and over! I'm such a dork!), because it was that 'uncomfortable' but it was a great book.

I agree. It such a moving and poignant book that it really stays with you.
But it's not a read it again kind of book unless you are in the mood to be depressed.
Tonia: I read lots of books over and over!! There are certain ones I read at least once a year!!

I have to reread certain books too! I'll be standing staring at my bookshelf and be like, 'I have to read (insert book name here), I haven't read it in awhile!!!'
