I am watching CNN now and the Vatican denies reports that Pope John Paul II has died. This is being reported by the AP.

I just checked Google news, and there were a couple reports saying 'near death' but nothing confirming it.

Channel 4 is saying right now he is entering septic shock and for a healthy person there is less than a 30% survival rate.
