my DH just heard on NY1 that the post HAS NOT died!??? They said he has suffered liver failure, and is at death's door, but he is still alive!
Anyone else hear the same news????

Last I heard, he was still alive but his organs were beginning to shut down and his breathing was getting labored.
Is it just me or did anyone think it was TMI and they should have given him more respect rather than tell that his fever was caused by a urinary tract infection? I know he is a public figure, but UTI's seem kind of personal and I feel like the man is suffering enough, why not just say 'an infection'?

Very true, but he is a very public figure, and many people are interested in those details (I'm not one of them.)

Very true, but he is a very public figure, and many people are interested in those details (I'm not one of them.)
The poor man...
I don't deny that the public should know his condition but I guess I wish they would have used some discretion. I feel like a saying he has a UTI is as bad as telling us about his bowel movements. It is none of our business. It is really personal in my opinion.
I hope he goes peacefully, though.
DH's great uncle (my FIL's uncle) was a priest (he died) and he was in the seminary with the Pope in Poland!
