The reason I will no longer buy Coke.

Coke has changed They will no longer sell 2 liter bottle only 1.5 liters and charge you the same price. W T F. Now MY fh is a coke S!ut and thats all he will drink. So He can spend his money on Coke!

I don't know why the same price its Crazy though. Call me a cheap Biatch but thets f-ed up

Thats what My FH said They are gonna make money. I kept saying they are gonna lose money people arent gonna buy 1.5 liters when they can buy 2 liters. My fh said they are gonna make money people probably wont catch on right away.

FH was telling me about this......I don't really drink soda, but I can't believe it!
I think they are only going to hurt themselves, unless Pepsi starts doing the same.

Usually one does not do something without theh other doing the same or similiar. I like Coke, but usually only buy the cases for work. but i don't like to see them ripping people off like this.

It's fairly common in food marketing to reduce the quantity instead of raising the price. If you look at the ice cream containers you'll see that some of them are not the gallon of ice cream but a smaller container - I think it's 3/4th container. People have thresholds for the amount they will pay for some things, so to keep the price down they reduce the size.

A few years back all the papers had articles on how the potato chip bags contained less chips. And way back probably before most of you remember, it happened with candy bars. a full size candy bar like Snickers or Baby Ruth used to be about 6-7 inches long, for about a quarter. And they just kept shrinking and shrinking.

We saw them this past weekend. It pisses me off and i'm not buying Coke anymore. Actually it's a good thing that they did this, now maybe we will start drinking something healthier

True Coke drinkers will pay.
When I moved here I was shocked to find no 3 liter Coke bottles. To me that was the standard. All I found were 2 liters at the price I used to pay for 3 liters.

When we drove up from Texas with my car I packed the trunk with 3 liters. I just don't get why they get away with selling smaller sizes out here. Jim says it's because no one drinks that much coke. Pfft. I buy those things by the dozens! *shrug*

I guess it's good. I shouldnt drink as much coke anyway.

3 liters? really? they were a fad here in the late 80's, but I haven't seen them in years. In college I used to buy 3 liter RC, but that was the only one I found.
Honestly, I'll still buy Coke, b/c I buy cans anyway.

Morning coke is a bad habbit I got into when I had a sumer job on 18th street & I walked from penn Station in the heat. There was a vending machine in the break room & since I was hourly I didn't ever start before my shift started, so I'd sit & have a coke.

ahh, what tasty bad habbit . . .

the reason i don't drink Coke is because it can LITERALLY take the paint off of a car - i have seen with my own eyes! if it can do that to a car, what is it doing to your insides??!!
