I know this is a light-hearted post....so I'm not being mean or malicious when I say this:

this is definitely going to bring heat...I get completely what you're saying...believe me I do, and I agree on certain points...

However, I don't wish it on you or anyone else for that matter having to ttc in that manner. It's a lot more common than we think - couples are having difficulty conceiving, so there is more of a science to it than a sexy-ness to it...and while you definitely don't think the thermo-is sexy...it is a lot more rewarding should a child be conceived.

I get what you're saying and I totally get what Chrissy is saying too.

When we first start TTC it probably won't be all thermometers and ovulation charts (ala Natural Family Planning)... but God forbid anyone runs into a road block or doesn't get lucky enough to concieve right away, these are method (cheap methods) ya gotta turn to in order to get the job done.


By the by, have never seen the movie you're talking about.. might have to look into that... who doesn't love a little JRM!!

hmmm, see now I don't think it's in the same vein.

I don't equate everyone that ttc's this way to those with fertility problems.

if someone is/was offended, I would have expected mail.

but again, to ME, in MY mind, it was about people that I know that are quite healthy, that let 'baby fever' consume them.

NOT commenting about those that need specialized treatments.

I caught the tail end of that movie last night and thought of you.

now I have to find out when its on again b/c I want to watch the whole thing
