The Riviera

Does anyone know if what this site states as their 'max' accomodations is correct? Is it really only 220???

I was told that 185 can fit comfortably. My wedding is huge (min 250) and i asked around and was told not to bother looking since we wont fit.

It probably can hold 220 but if you go anywhere past 150-180 the set up gets kind of weird. Some tables can't see the dance floor and are kind of seperate. I loved the Riviera but with 200 guests I thought it was kinda small.

I wouldnt do anywhere over 185..my friends wedding was 200, and it ws TIGHT!

220 would be pushing it big time... I'd go with no more than 185 at a max... to make everyone comfortable.

ITA. we were looking at it for about 160ppl and the BM let us come back to see it when it was set up for a wedding of 200ppl. and we just didnt like the set up. its perfect for a smaller wedding though.

Personally, as a Riviera bride, I think anything over 180 is pushing it. Yes it can be done, but like PP said, you start to get tables trickling onto the dancefloor area and into that back corner where no one can see anything.

I got the floorplan for 160 people and that is the max that can fit before going into that back corner.

Thanks everyone for your input! I guess I will wait and see what the exact number in my guest list is before I even bother! I am very disappointed though...the reviews you all give are great and the it just looks like the perfect setting!

Yea im going w/ everyone else - 200 is super tight... 160-180 seems to be ideal.... LIke FutureJOC (jessie) said that back corner is kind of a pain in the arse...
