The Riviera, Massapequa NY

Hi - just wondering if anyone is getting married or has been to a wedding at The Riviera in Massapequa. Thoughts anyone? How was the food & decor?
I'm looking at a June 2009 wedding date with 125 guests......

It is beautiful. My wedding was beyond perfect. Everyone raved about the place and the food. I have tons of pictures in my album. FM if you have any questions and good luck!

Food A++++ The cocktail hour was phenomenal...outside on the deck...it was gorgeous. Main dinner was also very good!

My only complaint...and you wont have this problem...was the room is shaped weird and with 200 guests there it was very crowded and I was stucck in the back corner (not near the dance floor, couldnt see anything, cake cutting, etc.) But you should be ok with $125 people!

My cousin got married there in December a few years ago. I thought it was beautiful and even though it was cold, I still went outside by the gazebo! FH and I looked there but some of my family members started saying that they remembered the food not being so great but I don't remember there being any problem. Good luck!

A friend of my family mine got married there 6 years ago. I'm getting married there on 11/1.

We are working with Vicky. She is great to work with and such a sweetheart!

Its really nice there. The scenic view is great with the cocktail hour outside. My sister got married there this past June and she loved it.

I went to this wedding and agree!! The food was amazing and the staff was so accomodating and nice.

I was married there in September. It was gorgeous.

I agree that anything over 140 would be too much.

They say they hold 225, but we had 160 and it was TIGHT!

I went to my cousins wedding at the Riviera. I love that place! The decor is all like dark wood and very pretty. The food is fantastic-especially the cocktail hour. The wedding was 5 years ago and everyone still talks about the food.

I'm getting married there and I LOVE it!!! I've tried their food and it was delicious! They are soo nice there and threw in a bunch of extras for us! Feel free to FM me with any questions.
