So i've heard from many people that the rule of thumb for a wedding is to expect 25-30% from the guest list to NOT show up at your wedding... is this true?

We invited 148, 101 RSVPd yes and 98 showed. We were soo sad at the thought of only 101 people at our wedding, and the first thing we said at the hotel when we got there was...'Could you imagine if 148 people were there?' !!!! We had a 34.8% no rate. And in all honesty we are thankful for it. But we were and still are pissed at the 3 no shows!!!
